Congratulations to the two newly graduated PhD students from EPOC

The two PhD students of the CASE network supervised by Jacques Giraudeau from EPOC are now Doctors.


On December 17th 2013, Christian Dylmer defended his PhD thesis entitled "Reconstructing the Late Holocene (last 3000 years) history of surface water changes in the Eastern Nordic Seas : a view from carbonate and organic-walled phytoplankton remains."

Gesa Milzer defended her PhD thesis entitled "On the significance of benthic stable isotopes and dinocyst assemblages as tracers of recent climatic and hydrological changes in the coastal area of central Norway (Trondheimsfjord) : a proxy validation study" on December 18th.

First Training Session Minutes

The first training session of the CASE project took place at Bordeaux on February 1-9 2011. This session was attended by the recently recruited 12 CASE ESRs, as well as by researchers from outside the network

The phD students recruitment of the CASE project is now completed

Diane Groot and Sarah Berben are the last phD fellows to join the CASE project are hosted at the University of Tromsø. They joined the Geology team on 10th January 2011 and they will work under the supervision of Katrine Husum.
