Congratulations to the two newly graduated PhD students from EPOC

The two PhD students of the CASE network supervised by Jacques Giraudeau from EPOC are now Doctors.


On December 17th 2013, Christian Dylmer defended his PhD thesis entitled "Reconstructing the Late Holocene (last 3000 years) history of surface water changes in the Eastern Nordic Seas : a view from carbonate and organic-walled phytoplankton remains."

Gesa Milzer defended her PhD thesis entitled "On the significance of benthic stable isotopes and dinocyst assemblages as tracers of recent climatic and hydrological changes in the coastal area of central Norway (Trondheimsfjord) : a proxy validation study" on December 18th.

APEX Fifth International Conference and Workshop

The APEX Fifth International Conference and Workshop will be held at the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) located in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. The meeting includes a one-day boat excursion to Billefjorden to visit Kapp Ekholm and the Nordenskioldbreen glacier.
